Rural Youth Leadership Programme
The Foundation's key objective is to empower rural youth and bridge developmental gaps in rural India. Rural boys and girls face disadvantages in communication skills, exposure to the outside world, and awareness of career options compared to their urban counterparts. To address this, they have designed the Rural Youth Leadership Program (RYLP), a dynamic initiative that enhances communication, leadership, and career development through language classes, motivational lectures, and policy awareness. This programme aims to boost their confidence, mental clarity, and control over their careers, health, villages, and society. The Progressive Foundation plans to adopt a similar model for promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in both rural and urban areas.
