The Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence(VIHE) was established in 2012 with a focus on instilling faith and imparting noble values to raise indiv Read moreiduals' efficiency and fortune through spiritual and moral development. VIHE aims to shape the youth into ideal individuals, offering value-based training inspired by Swamy Vivekananda's principles of character-building and nation-building. Over the last decade, around 50,000 individuals have benefited from its life-changing programmes. Now, for its 10-year celebration, it plans to provide entrepreneurship and employment opportunities to over 10,000 men, women, and youth through self-sustainable microfinance structures and partnerships with various organisations.

Vivekanandam Programme
Vivekanandam, a distinctive programme organised by VIHE, focuses on character-building and self-discipline for children. It aims to instil healthy habits of reading, listening, studying, and reciting, nurturing the child's growing mind. The programme encourages children to discover their hidden potential and utilize them for personal and national progress. Participants in Vivekanandam develop into well-rounded and ideal Indian citizens, embodying virtues like patriotism, respect for elders, and good judgment.

Shakti Bharat Programme
Shakti Bharat, a programme offered by VIHE, focuses on empowering women from underprivileged sections of society. It provides training in various arts and crafts, as well as trades such as tailoring, embroidery, fashion designing, and beautician courses. The programme is run by dedicated and socially enlightened women devotees of the Holy Mother. Women who have completed the training in this programme now lead dignified lives, characterized by a sense of pride, self-respect, and self-sufficiency.

Jeevana Vikasam Programme
Jeevana Vikasam conducts weekly Sunday morning sessions from 9:30 to 12:30, featuring inspiring and interactive classes on Personality Development, Life-Skills, Communication, Leadership, Career Planning, Interview, and Interpersonal Skills. Expert trainers from various industries and enlightened individuals lead these value-based sessions.

Jeevana Vedam Programme
Jeevana Vedam organises spiritual discourses and Satsang sessions every Saturday evening. These sessions encompass teachings from Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, along with explanations of slokas from The Gita, Upanishads, and other scriptural texts. Guided meditation is also part of the programme. Additionally, Bhajans & Arati take place from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Daily Puja and Arati are performed to the holy trio in the prayer hall. The organisation celebrates four significant festivals annually, including Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti, Guru Purnima, and Sarada Mata Jayanti, along with other holy occasions.

Communicative English Programme
The organisation offers the 'Communicative English' Programme (CEP), which focuses on providing holistic training in all four language skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) to young graduates. Developed by expert language coaches, the programme has been beneficial to thousands of students, enabling them to become competent professionals in their respective fields. With three batches per day and 50 students per batch, the intensive 45-day programme aims to equip individuals with essential communication skills, emphasizing what, whom, when, and how to communicate effectively, as quoted by Swami Vivekananda. In the current global scenario, where communication plays a vital role, the significance of this programme is undeniable in helping students secure decent employment opportunities.
