DBM INDIA (DBM) operates as a humanitarian entity committed to initiating lasting transformations for impoverished and marginalized children, families Read more, and communities. Operating under the Navasrushti International Trust, it focuses on fostering Hunger-Free Communities. Its inception, rooted in providing midday meals for 50 children in a single school, has evolved into a substantial force, providing education, healthcare, skills training, empowerment, and job placements. Recognizing the need to address underlying issues, its emphasis has shifted from hunger alone to tackling factors impeding progress and development. In harmony with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at eliminating poverty, hunger, and inequality, DBM is actively engaged in Goal 1 (No Poverty) and Goal 4 (Quality Education). Its core strategy revolves around the 3E Approach: Education, Employment, and Empowerment. By nurturing awareness and opportunities in education and employment, DBM endeavours to empower beneficiaries, particularly underserved children, youth, and women, with an overarching vision of cultivating "Hunger-Free Communities." With the goal of providing quality education to 5000 underserved children and equipping 10,000 youth with employable skills by 2025, it embodies the ethos of "Start with Self, Begin Small, Commence Today."
