For the identified groups, a 3-day training course was organised, focusing on cultivating Ganedorma mushrooms. In collaboration with the Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Dairying (SINED), the foundation has developed a specialized training curriculum tailored to the prior knowledge, available resources, and climatic conditions of the lower belt of western Himachal. The region faces challenges such as poor crop productivity, limited arable land per capita, ample common property grazing lands, and a lack of diverse income sources. Consequently, dairy animal rearing has become a necessary economic activity. To address this, the foundation focuses on key aspects such as selecting suitable dairy cattle breeds, green silage cultivation techniques, disease management, calf care, and milk processing. Through these measures, the farmers' income is elevated and the overall quality of life has improved.
