It has impacted over 4 million children through its programmes. It is currently working directly with three state Governments, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, and Tamil Nadu. Its interventions are also through various critical partnerships with some of India’s leading NGOs to scale it and work towards strengthening and replicating this system model across various states and NGOs.

Universal Screening Tool
StateThe objective of the tool is to increase awareness and build capacities of teachers and key stakeholders about the various risk factors children face due to vulnerability in the area of health, mental health, nutritional deficits and disability and identify children at risk in the mainstream school system. These students represent a significant portion of the student population (potentially 50% of all classrooms). Teachers and Educational Stakeholders to empower teachers to effectively manage and address challenges within their classrooms.
Features of this tool were integrated in the Tamil Nadu state App using which 49 lakh children were screened and 4 lakh children were identified as children at risk. Across Tamil Nadu 25635 teachers and 1818 Special educators were trained on screening, identification and schemes linkages.

Inclusive Education
StateThe objective of the program is to increase the literacy and numeracy levels of all children in primary government schools as per NIPPUN goals with a special focus on children with disabilities and timely detection of delays and risks through the integration of Universal screening for all children at risk. It co-develops accessible learning content in FLN aligned to the state program and NIPPUN goals which is based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) which is an evidence-based framework for building inclusive classrooms around the world.
