Star menstrual healthcare program
StateA woman's menstrual health is pivotal for her overall well-being and has a profound impact on her family and community. Menstrual hygiene remains a challenging developmental concern. Menstruation is often linked with the beginning of puberty for girls, but it also brings about rules, limitations, isolation, and altered societal expectations. These shifts in attitudes towards girls, such as constraints on their self-expression, education, mobility, and freedom, carry significant implications for women's mindset and empowerment. Star wellness conducted an awareness session covering various topics related to menstruation and importance of maintaining hygiene. It also provided guidance on the right ways of using, cleaning and storing the reusable sanitary pads. The organisation distributed more than 100 sanitary pads to the women of rural areas.

Health camp for construction workers
StateStar Wellness and Care Foundation has orchestrated a Health Camp for Construction Workers (WABAG) in Rithala, driven by the objective of fostering awareness about preventive healthcare. The camp conducted tests such as CBC, Blood Sugar Random, and BP Monitoring. Most of these unorganized construction workers hail from various villages across the country. They work for 10-12 hours a day to meet tight deadlines. Evaluating risk factors and implementing safety measures is essential for safeguarding their health and well-being. The campaign's objective is to offer Preventive Health Check-Up services to identify potential health risks among seemingly healthy individuals. This enables early interventions to reduce health issues and mortality rates within the population.

Health camp for fire fighters
StateFirefighters face enduring health risks from their job, particularly pertaining to heart disease. The frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous chemicals, and strenuous exertion on duty significantly contributes to heart-related issues among them. The nature of their work exposes them to distressing scenes and trauma, potentially contributing to higher instances of alcohol and substance abuse. Irregular meal patterns due to the demanding nature of their job can also lead to health problems, possibly exacerbated by reliance on fast food. The campaign's objective is to offer Preventive Health Check-Up services to identify potential health risks among apparently healthy individuals.
