Formerly known as Acid Survivors Foundation India, the Acid Survivors and Women Welfare Foundation (ASWWF) is a prominent nonprofit, non-governmental Read moreorganization dedicated to combating acid burns and various forms of violence against women in India since 2010. ASWWF's primary objective revolves around the advancement and well-being of women. The foundation actively fosters a societal milieu that discourages gender-based violence and serves as an advocacy platform for such instances. ASWWF firmly supports legal measures for prosecuting offenders and calls for the establishment of national guidelines to govern the treatment, aftercare, and rehabilitation of survivors of acid violence and other related forms of aggression.ASWWF remains steadfast in its commitment to rebuilding lives. Acid attacks leave survivors with enduring and profound psychological and physical scars that surpass the impact of many other forms of violence. The notion that time heals all wounds does little to alleviate the anguish experienced by women who are confronted with shame and agony due to their mere existence. ASWWF strives to ameliorate the lives of these survivors, working tirelessly to make their journey slightly more bearable and positive. In pursuit of this objective and to provide comprehensive support to survivors, ASWWF collaborates with partner organizations on a "Theory of Change" (TOC), a jointly formulated framework.

Addressing rural seasonal unemployment, we provide training during periods of limited work, ensuring families' support during difficulties.

Curbing attack rates through effective legislation.
