Youth for Jath is a nonprofit social organization with a mission to empower students, teachers, and schools. We firmly believe that "education is the Read moremost potent instrument for transforming the world." Youth for Jath is dedicated to offering academic, financial, and moral support to students hailing from rural backgrounds, spanning from primary school to college levels. The vision is to emerge as a prominent charity organization in the realm of education. The organisation is focused on the arid and economically disadvantaged region of Jath in India, characterized by a meager average annual rainfall of just 500 mm, a lack of rail connectivity, and the absence of industrial and professional educational facilities. The per capita income in this area falls below the state average of Maharashtra. The organisation’s efforts revolve around the transformation of schools and students in rural areas, equipping them with academic and economic assistance to foster responsible citizenship in the 21st century. The organisation upholds core values such as fairness, ensuring that the programs are impartial and free from discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion. Transparency is paramount in the operations, and it adheres to the highest standards of openness and honesty.

Mobile library
The weight of school textbooks has created a barrier for students, limiting their ability to explore other literature. This limitation has, in turn, hindered the development of independent thinking and writing skills for their future. To address this issue, the organisation established a platform where students can enhance their reading skills by delving into a diverse range of books.
The primary mission is to instil a love for reading in children. The organisation has harnessed recent technological advancements to create a mobile library that offers students access to an array of essential books. This mobile library is stocked with the necessary materials for students' reading needs. It travels to schools and various locations in Jath on specific dates and times, allowing children to choose books of their liking. -
Distribution drive
Through Asmita program, the organisation provided essential support to the Government School in Achkanhalli by distributing 200 pairs of shoes and socks. This distribution not only promotes the value of equality but also ensures the protection of students' feet during their journey to school. Jath faces scorching temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius each year, and it is disheartening that some children still have to walk barefoot to school. In response to this challenge, it identified vulnerable children in government schools and providing them with Indian slippers.
In a similar initiative, Youth for Jath generously donated ten large green classroom boards, four notice boards, and four stands to SRVM High School & Jr College in Jath It also distributed school bags to schools in Jath. It also donated used clothes and projector to a Deaf and dumb school in Jath. -
