The organisation named SWADESH was established in Ichak block of Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand in October 2006 with the efforts of Sudhir Kumar and Read more Prabhu Dayal Ram and influenced by Jai Prakash Narayan, Mahatma Gandhi's ideology along with the Lok Samiti organization. During Sudhir Kumar's graduation, due to his association with the Lok Samiti organization in the society, he wished to work in the society. After graduation, while working as an observer in the informal education center run by the Bihar government, at the same time, the Lok Samiti was influenced by being associated with the organization and organized some colleagues, all aroused the desire to work in the society and the consent of all the fellows In 2006, an organization named Swadesh was formed. And started working in the society, meeting with all colleagues, it was decided to work in four areas, bringing awareness among women, health, education, environment according to the nomenclature of SWADESH (S- society, W-women, A- awareness, D- Development, E - Educational S- services, & H-health) It was resolved to do the work after that the institution was legally sent from Jharkhand Government Ranchi in March 2008 under the Registration Act 21,1860 of the Institutions Registration Ranchi. Genesis of SWADESH With inspiring the principles of late Mahatma Gandhi The founders of SWADESH leaded by Sudhir kumar a committed social worker wanted to put their strives ideas and experiences of rural development and social changes into practice independently what they has gained in the past Years by working with the several Reputed Organisations, social activities of MNREGA , awareness program on different issues, environment and climate change affects ,plantation for the soil and water conservation with a view to reduce the global warming, workshop on RTI, mainstream and retention of dropout and out of school children are the major activity we have conducted in year. Founder Team set a goal and objectives and came under one umbrella for work in the Ichak and adjacent areas for different social causes in the year 2007. Emergence: With looking after the Illiteracy, superstitions, hunger, orthodox attitudes and corruption Encouraged not only the youth and literates but many common people including the women also came in the front line to eradicate the disseminates. The organization is continuously trying to facilitate on the issues of Gender Equality, social justice, Employment and alternative sources of Income generation so that the society can be fearless, equal and really independent with self reliant. SWADESH is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2007 , dedicated to improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities in rural India. Our organization focuses on education, health, women’s empowerment, cultural development protection of heritage and sustainable development. We believe in creating a future where every individual has access to essential resources, oportunities.
