Soulfree, a public charitable trust, aims to provide persons living with SCI the opportunity to lead a life of dignity and purpose, through medical re Read morehabilitation, education, employment, entrepreneurship, sports and social reintegration. For 9 years, Soulfree has conducted outreach programs for SCI persons by donation of wheelchairs, monthly stipend, medical help, Independent living program etc. Soulfree has set up an Integrated Spinal Cord Injury Rehab Centre in Tiruvannamalai, spanning 20000 sq feet and at a total cost of Rs.6.5 crores. This INSPIRE Centre will ease the transition from Hospital to Home, and provide individualised, holistic healing programs between 2 to 9 months.

Programs

  • Prevention Awareness for SCI

    Enlighten: Soulfree seeks to bring attention to the predicament of India's severely crippled people, particularly women, to raise awareness of their issues and assist in building a more accessible and inclusive India.
    Educate: Raising awareness is one of the most effective ways to stop spinal cord injuries from occurring in the future. To raise awareness of the seriousness of spinal cord injuries, Soulfree wants to educate everyone in the community, at every school, and every college.

  • Rehabilitation

    Establish a system of support for the families of people who suffer spinal cord injuries right away.

    As soon as a spinal cord injury occurs, to offer bereavement counselling, advice, and comprehensive support so that we can make sure the person receives the right treatment and rehabilitation at every stage.

Milestones & Track Record

Soulfree has been provided a 16,000 sq ft building by the Government of Tamil Nadu to establish an integrated spinal cord injury rehabilitation center called INSPIRE.
