These people are left with feelings of shock, guilt, anger, and depression and they struggle to understand why it happened. People coping with loss need support but the stigmatization of suicide in India makes it difficult to seek and find help. “After losing my mother to suicide, I reached out to Sisters Living Works for help. They connected me to their Support Group, which has helped me to share and process my emotions related to my loss, and it has given me the strength to overcome my grief,” said Geeta. You don’t have to cope with your loss alone. Sisters Living Works is here to help. Like Geeta, families are struggling with the loss of a loved one to suicide. Suicide Prevention Education for Educators
This training session is designed for educators, faculty, and staff working in schools and colleges. It aims to enhance their understanding of risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, as well as provide them with effective strategies to support students facing mental health challenges.
