Champa Mahila Society is a Registered Women's Organization which is situated at the top-most corner of the perpetual Poverty-stricken area-Basanti of Read more Sundarban. Donations are exempted u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act. 1961. The institution is eligible to receive local, and foreign grants & donations. Natural disasters, disease, poverty and starvation have become an integral part of the life of the people of Sundarban. People depend on agricultural land, forest and rivers for their livelihood. The organization has been working for the people, especially the needy children & Women of some Islands of Sundarban. Champa Mahila Society has some activities like- Self Help Groups, Micro Credit Program, Care of Destitute Children, Day Care Centre, Non-Formal Education, Animal Rearing program, Drinking Water Program, Health Service, Sustainable Agriculture, Women's Empowerment, Education Program, Old-Age Home, Service for the Special Boys and Girls, Awareness Program, Relief Work, Service for the Tiger Victim Families, Sponsorship Program.
