Divi’s Foundation for Gifted Children is a Non-Profit Organization founded in the year 2015. We operate with a focus on improving the awareness, quali Read morety of assessment, and care provided in the field of Autism in India. We believe in being more empathetic as a society towards children on the spectrum. The foundation strives towards developing a safe neuro-diverse community, thereby achieving children’s holistic development and inclusiveness in all aspects of their life. Our Vision: India where all individuals with ASD and their families have access to excellent evidence-based care. To achieve this, we have: Established a Centre of Excellence for Autism care in Hyderabad, India, in collaboration with Fernandez Hospitals. The centre offers extensive interwoven therapies like Occupational Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, Speech and Language, Remedial Therapy, Physiotherapy, Yoga for special needs and, Art Therapy. DFGC has been ushering subject matter experts from countries around the world to conduct various wholesome workshops that typically extend for a period of one to three days. The foundation confers the opportunity to develop networking among Indian Centres, thereby improving the therapeutic approach and care provided.

Autism awareness walk
On April 23, 2023, the Vizag team of Divi's organized an Autism Awareness Walk along RK Beach Road. More than 500 participants, including Divi's staff, families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts, united to support individuals with autism. The walk encompassed the entire length of the beach, aiming to raise awareness about autism while advocating for acceptance and inclusion. Such events exemplify Divi's dedication to community impact. By joining forces and spreading awareness, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by autism.

Indo Canadian Conference
Following the I-CAN conference in 2019, Divi’s Foundation organized a subsequent event in February 2020. Engaging in a collaborative effort, 5 delegates from Canada joined forces with several Indian centers to provide comprehensive training to approximately 60 delegates from these centers, delving into advanced topics in Autism Care. The conference spanned over three days, with the initial two days dedicated to intensive training sessions tailored for smaller groups, each focusing on specialized topic areas. The culmination of the event took place on the third day with a roundtable conference, fostering open dialogue and knowledge exchange among participants.
