Samait Shala, a non-profit from Ahmedabad, Gujarat is working to build instructional capacity in schools by supporting teachers with whole-class appro Read moreaches required to address the needs of children with high learning differences and Learning Difficulties and build school management capacity to sustain those practices at the school level. We have created multiple digital support modules for teachers and School Leaders to support teaching-learning practices. We have conducted personalized sessions on digital and pedagogy learning sessions for over 2,500 teachers, 50+ School leaders, and NGO team members in the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, New Delhi, and Mumbai. Samait Shala has been supported for its reading program under READ Alliance (a consortium of USAID and CKS in New Delhi). It has also been funded by Edumentum (incubation of Shibulal Philanthropy Initiatives, and InnovatED (incubation of Teach for India). Wipro Foundation has been its seed funding partner since its inception in 2017. In 2022, we got incubated under ATMA's Accelerator program to strengthen our organization's development vertical.

Samait Shala's vision is to create an inclusive learning environment for every child, while their mission is to enable leadership capacity in teachers, school leaders, and resource teachers to take data-based decisions to create an inclusive environment in their school.

Samait Shala has impacted 2000+ children, trained 900+ teachers, worked with 5 school managements, developed 26 training modules, and conducted 450+ trainings.
