Mahalandi Institute of Child's Right Organization

MICRO is a non-profit socio-economic development organization registered as an NGO/Trust in 2021 under the Government of India Trust Act 1882, Sectio Read moren 64 (Reg. No. - IV-104) dated 9.03.2005. As a registered Trust, MICRO ensures compliance with all legal requirements, including CSR Form-1, 12AA, 80G, and FCRA. The organization's mission is to work on building a safety net in the community through various capacity-building activities including skill development, Menstrual Hygiene, Gender Justice, and education in selected areas of Kandi and Nabagram Block of Murshidabad District of West Bengal. MICRO believes in providing a platform for donating time, and not just money. With limited capacity, the organization was able to open up 26 child centers in the surrounding villages for Adivasi/ ST communities. Through those centers, the organization has addressed food nutrition demand and education issues by providing food and education support. The organization formed a football team with 70 girls from tribal and other underprivileged communities.
