Sankalp - For a Good Cause is a registered NGO under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It was initiated by the dedicated staff of Sathguru Manageme Read morent Consultants, who came together with a shared vision of supporting specific philanthropic goals. The organization focuses on various areas, including educating underprivileged girl children, healthcare for older people, skill-building, and community-centric activities. Sankalp's projects are categorized under three main initiatives: Siksha, Jiva, and Vivrithi. Since its inception in 2007, Sankalp started by supporting one child’s education, and today it has touched the lives of 3000 children and their families. Among them, 1000 children are pursuing higher secondary education, while a few have even embarked on a journey in the workforce. Sankalp has also supported four children with disabilities, enabling them to access quality education and essential assistive devices. In an effort to create safer neighborhoods and life skills education, Sankalp has taken proactive steps to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and life skills education. This initiative has reached 50000 children from government and private schools in Hyderabad. Additionally, addressing the concerning rise in violence against children during COVID days, Sankalp virtually trained teachers from 64 government schools in Telangana and parents from two corporates on preventing child sexual abuse. Sankalp's impact extends beyond education and awareness. Sankalp has significantly improved the quality of life for children fighting thalassemia and cancer by collecting more than 1,500 units of blood. During COVID, as a modest step to enable households to fight COVID-19 nutrition deficiencies, Sankalp has provided grocery kits to families containing vegetables, milk, and biscuits apart from dry rations. Groceries sufficient for one month have reached 750 households of children studying in 5 schools, four orphanages, and an old age home in Hyderabad. Through its dedicated efforts, Sankalp continues to create a meaningful difference in society, touching the lives of numerous individuals and leaving a lasting impact on the community it serves.

  • Imparting Life Skills
