Karunalaya Social Service Society

Karunalaya mobilises vulnerable children living in the streets and slum areas and enrols them in the "Supplementary Education - No Child Left Behind" programme, giving them the chance to develop in terms of education, leadership training, and other curricular activities. The goal of this initiative is to end child labour and increase school assistance in the poorest areas of North Chennai. Every student is also a member of "The Children's Club," a gathering place where young people are inspired to showcase their abilities. The following subjects are included in the programme: science, math, social science, English, Tamil, and project work. To encourage personal growth, training and assistance will be given in subjects like behavioural modification, fundamental life skills, personality development, time management, and self-discipline.

This program's goal is to teach communication skills to women in North Chennai to encourage leadership.
To stop domestic violence against women and to raise community awareness of gender issues and mainstreaming. to enable women to take up lobbying and campaigning as a means of defending their community's rights.

To offer training programmes for entrepreneurship development and to establish a foundation for women's economically sustainable development.
