Programs

  • One Team One Dream Programme

iPartner India advocates that early engagement with young girls can empower them to realize their full potential and shape their future. The organisation has initiated a comprehensive programme, "One Team One Dream," in Kolkata since early 2019. This project challenges gender stereotypes and enhances leadership skills through gender training and football sports. Operating in a community constrained by patriarchal norms, where girls face restrictions and abuse, the initiative conducts one-to-one sessions, gender-based violence training, and legal counselling. Over 500 girls and women have benefited, fostering positive changes in community attitudes and behaviours towards girls.

  • Educate Her Empower Her Programme

    District

iPartner India's prevention model, "Rakshan" ('Safety' in English), engages with the entire ecosystem across 28 villages to safeguard vulnerable girls from trafficking. Emphasizing education as a primary focus, the #Educate Her Empower Her campaign is derived from Rakshan, promoting scholarship programs. Over the next two years, the initiative aims to raise funds for this campaign, supporting more than 100 girls at risk of dropping out, and preventing child labour, early marriage, and sex work. The focus is on empowering these girls to complete high school or pursue higher education, fostering their autonomy in decision-making for a brighter future.

  • Education Programmes

iPartner supports education initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized children, particularly girls, by partnering with various organizations. Through strategic interventions, it aids in the rehabilitation and societal reintegration of survivors of neglect and abuse. Addressing the stark reality of 33 million South Asian children out of primary and lower secondary school, iPartner focuses on ensuring equal access to education. Recognizing the transformative impact of education, especially for girls, it champions projects fostering critical thinking skills and confidence-building. By investing in these innovative programmes, iPartner strives to cultivate empowered young women capable of initiating change in their lives and communities.

  • Anti Child Trafficking Programme

iPartner collaborates with a robust network of organisations dedicated to combatting child trafficking, emphasizing prevention and aiding survivors' rehabilitation and societal reintegration. Through partnerships nationwide, it strives to safeguard children from trafficking while enabling survivors to build sustainable livelihoods. Working closely with trusted advocates, iPartner launched the impactful Every 8 Minutes campaign in 2016, raising awareness and support for trafficking survivors. Its support of comprehensive studies, like the HAQ and CACT initiative in 2015-16, resulted in updated data and crucial emergency assistance for rescued children, filling a vital gap in information since the last report in 2001. This initiative aimed to bolster awareness and advocate for improved data management and governance to tackle child trafficking effectively.

  • Environmental Programme

iPartner India focuses on cultivating a secure and nurturing environment for children in India, ensuring their understanding and protection of basic rights. Over a decade, it has championed impactful projects offering shelter, nourishment, education, and rehabilitation to vulnerable children, often abandoned by their caregivers. Through funding and support, iPartner enables these projects to implement comprehensive intervention programmes, addressing the holistic needs of the children—emotional, mental, and physical—and empowering them to become self-reliant and financially independent individuals.
