Ek Pahel B. R. Memorial Welfare Society is an Indian non-governmental organisation, set up with the vision to illumine the future of underprivileged c Read morehildren and women of India. It was founded on 2nd December 2009 (under the Societies Registration Act, 1860) by a team of youngsters in Agra who had the zeal to transform the lives of the less privileged through Education, Enrichment and Empowerment. Ek Pahel synergizes its efforts to achieve the following objectives: · Impart quality education to underprivileged children, youth and women · Provide better healthcare facilities to underprivileged children, youth and women · Generate awareness about various social issues such as child labour, gender discrimination, domestic violence among the masses · Focus on skill development of underprivileged children, youth and women · Financially and socially empower women of marginalized sections of the society · Encourage social entrepreneurship through young people and women · Provide relief and restore services in times of emergencies

Activities Included in the Project: At our elementary school "Prakashpunj - Ek Pahel Pathshala" in Dayalbagh, Agra, provide 525 impoverished women and children with a free, high-quality education.
Provide the women and children with a nutritious one-time meal.
Give the students their uniforms, stationery, books, bags, and bottles, among other things.
Use nukad nataks to raise awareness among kids and their families of the value and necessity of education.
Sponsor high-achieving pupils who graduated from our school to pursue higher education
Schedule physical education classes regularly.
Plan recreational or exercise classes for the students while they're on vacation.

Give impoverished women access to adult education with a functional literacy focus.
Instruct the ensuing courses:- Stitching, knitting, Beautician, Dona-making, Henna-designing Pukar - Legal Counselling Cell to raise awareness of women's legal rights and to give needed legal advice and support to women who are having difficulties
