The Keshava Kripa Samvardhana Samiti (KKSS) functions as an NGO dedicated to various service activities. In 2004, Abhyudaya was established as a proje Read morect within KKSS, starting as a Free Learning Centre (FLC) with 12 initial students. Over time, Abhyudaya has grown into a powerful force, reaching over 4,000 students across 150+ FLCs in Bengaluru's remote villages and slums. Its primary focus lies in providing life skills, value-based education, and participating in healthcare initiatives. The project takes a comprehensive approach, prioritizing socially disadvantaged children, their families, and the wider community. The goal is to strengthen the community by empowering marginalized groups through education, complementing mainstream education and fostering humanistic values in underprivileged children through collaborative volunteer efforts. Abhyudaya firmly believes that offering holistic education is not only a commitment but also a solemn obligation towards societal and national advancement. The project envisions creating a resilient and empowered community through educational endeavours, embodying the ideals of social responsibility and collective advancement.

Kalika Kendra (Free Learning Center – FLC) Programme
Abhyudaya currently supports over 4,000 socially deprived children through 100+ Kalika Kendras (Free Learning Centers – FLCs) across Bengaluru. Supervised by 135 local teachers and 25 mentors, these FLCs engage primary and high school students from government schools for two hours daily, providing academic assistance, homework support, and encouraging participation in extracurricular activities. The program emphasizes holistic development, including quiz competitions, sports, cultural activities, counselling sessions on personal hygiene and community health, workshops on values and ethics, as well as educational and recreational tours. Teachers undergo regular training to enhance their content knowledge, teaching methods, and interpersonal skills.

Janagiri and Vidyanidhi Programme
Jnanagiri offers free coaching for Grade X (SSLC) students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing Personality Development and Career Counseling sessions on weekends. Over 250 students annually benefit from this programme, with some progressing to professional studies and becoming valuable resources for Jnanagiri activities. Vidyanidhi is an effort to financially support academically bright children from low-income families, disbursing funds once a year to cover school fees, conveyance, uniforms, and stationery. The selection process involves meticulous verification by volunteers before finalizing recipients from Kalika Kendras and selected schools and colleges in Bengaluru.
