  • ADHARSHILA FAMILY HEALTH CENTRE

    State

In addition to three permanent clinics, Adharshila oversees three mobile clinics that are thoughtfully positioned across Delhi-NCR. Together, these clinics provide medical care for about 20,000 outpatient department (OPD) visits a year, five days a week. Medication is provided to beneficiaries at no cost, while lab, ultrasound, and X-ray services are available for a minimal fee. To accomplish its goals, the centre's complete health delivery programme includes population screenings, awareness initiatives, and the encouragement of preventative healthcare. Adharshila offers medical services as well as counselling and awareness seminars to its recipients. The themes covered in these sessions range widely and include menstruation, cancer, eye care, liver care, diet, cleanliness, and hygiene. Regular screenings and tests are performed at the clinics, such as Pap smears, blood pressure and diabetes monitoring, immunisations, and tetanus vaccinations.

  • POORNATA PROGRAM - VALUE BASED EDUCATION

    State

To enhance students' lives via value-based learning, Adharshila has introduced Poornata Value Education Workshops for students in grades 3 through 9, in collaboration with the Blue Orb Foundation. "Poornata" aims to make learning memorable, easy, and powerful by teaching values to kids engagingly and effectively using a unique and specialised methodology. It provides a vital visualisation of the child's early growth, assisting in the gradual laying of the groundwork necessary to reach the result, which is happiness. The nine modules of Poornata are Focus, Commitment, Kindness, Courage, Respect, Humility, Love, Gratitude, Integrity, and Trust. Children can participate in the programme, think critically, draw parallels to real-world situations, sympathise, and solve issues. Children who complete these programmes can put ideals into practice in their daily lives and develop a high level of self-awareness regarding their interactions with others, the environment, and even themselves
