Health Evaluation, Habilitation And Allied Services
Health evaluation, habilitation, and allied services at the Community Centre begin with a comprehensive assessment of each child's general health, nutritional status, and developmental concerns. This evaluation informs tailored interventions and family counselling sessions. The transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team conducts clinical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, collaborating with parents across four key areas: communication of special needs, home management guidance, developmental counselling, and targeted therapy sessions. Periodic check-ups, camps, workshops, and preventive initiatives further enhance health promotion and community education on disabilities.

Early Intervention(EI)
Early Intervention (EI) services target children identified by surveys, especially in resource-limited areas like New Seelampur. The program, integrated with community worker training, emphasizes health assessments and developmental therapy for children under 7 years old. EI is crucial for fostering basic motor skills and self-care in disabled children. At CARENIDHI's community centre, a multidisciplinary team collaborates closely with families, therapists, and educators to empower parents with essential skills and knowledge for their child's holistic development. Regular follow-ups ensure ongoing support and advocacy for children with special needs and their families.
