Environment Protection Programme
In the face of escalating pollution and global warming challenges in India, VOICE Trust actively addresses these issues by collaborating with farmers to diminish the use of harmful chemicals, enhance soil stability, and bolster crop resilience against severe weather conditions. The organisation takes a proactive stance by planting trees to mitigate global warming and boost climate resilience. Additionally, VOICE Trust plays a pivotal role in educating communities on waste reduction, reuse, and recycling practices, aiming to curb environmental pollution and contamination. The commitment extends to fostering environmental awareness in the younger generation through educational initiatives in schools.
-
Sustainable Agriculture Programme
The foundation of India's economy lies in agriculture, yet traditional practices are no longer sustainable, contributing to environmental degradation and financial struggles for farmers. VOICE Trust has addressed these challenges by conducting farming field schools since 1995, teaching sustainable agriculture methods. Farmers learn seed banking, organic fertilizer creation, and practices like multi-cropping and drip irrigation. Thousands of farmers now earn reliable incomes, feed their families, and pay for education and healthcare. By imparting these practices to the next generation, VOICE Trust ensures a sustainable, environmentally friendly approach to farming for years to come.
-
Disaster Relief Programmes
India faces intensified natural disasters due to climate change, causing unprecedented devastation. Events like floods, cyclones, and droughts severely impact communities. VOICE Trust responds by delivering emergency aid, including essential supplies and livelihood support like goats, sewing machines, bee-keeping equipment, and fishing materials. Simultaneously, the organisation educates local farmers on sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, empowering them to withstand future disasters more effectively and promoting community resilience in the face of environmental challenges.

Friendship Children's Home Programme
Established in 2006, Friendship Children’s Home began with 15 children in Siraganur and now shelters approximately 30, providing housing, nutrition, healthcare, and education with external support. VOICE Trust enriches children's education through activities, celebrating events like Deepavali and Independence Day inclusively. The organisation also fosters environmental responsibility by teaching the children to plant and nurture, instilling a sense of ecological awareness. French volunteers initiated an ecological agriculture garden in 2016, benefiting the children and promoting self-sufficiency. The primary focus is on providing a nurturing environment, knowledge, and confidence for the children's future flourishing.

Programme for the Specially Abled
Millions of individuals in India, hindered by disabilities, struggle to realize their full potential due to financial constraints and inaccessible infrastructure. Children with an eagerness to learn face barriers to education and independent living. Disabled adults encounter limited employment options, often relying on family and friends for support. VOICE Trust, in collaboration with the Government and international partners, has worked for over two decades to empower physically or mentally challenged individuals. Providing therapy, hearing aids, wheelchairs, and assistive devices, the organization aims to eliminate physical barriers and societal prejudices, ensuring dignity and equal opportunities for the differently-abled.
