Clean India Mission
The Clean India Initiative undertaken by New Ark Mission of India goes beyond traditional notions of cleanliness, aiming for a "Real Swachh Bharat." It involves not only picking up litter but also addressing the deeper issue of homelessness. Founder Raja envisions cities free of beggars, with the destitute rehabilitated into productive members of society. Those who recover from illness are trained to maintain cleanliness in the streets and premises, contributing to the dream of a truly clean and green India. The organisation seeks to expand its efforts to establish more shelters across major cities, providing refuge for the rejected and marginalized, and transforming lives from despair to dignity.
