Collaborating with various entities including Government bodies, NGOs, both national and international agencies, as well as public and private sectors, Sahayog strives to influence and enhance different aspects of ordinary people's lives. It works alongside governmental initiatives to amplify its impact on the health, education, livelihoods, and overall progress of communities.

TB Programme
Under the ongoing TB Programme, Sahayog is actively addressing the global health challenge of tuberculosis, particularly drug-resistant TB, in the State of Odisha. The TB Patient Support Initiatives (TPSI) focus on constructive communication and high-quality TB prevention and control support. Sahayog's interventions include reaching needy DR-TB patients with monthly family nutrition packages, ensuring proper treatment, facilitating follow-ups, providing education and counselling, advocating for uninterrupted drug supply, and conducting sensitization and advocacy efforts to combat TB stigma and promote awareness.

Healthcare & Wellbeing Programmes
Sahayog advocates for health promotion to enhance people's control over and improve their overall well-being. Focused on maternal and child health promotion, the organisation addresses socioeconomic determinants affecting vulnerable communities in Odisha. Sahayog works to improve access to health services, nutrition, social security, and hygiene. Additionally, the organisation actively engages in sexual and reproductive health initiatives, combating domestic violence, and adolescent health programmes, ensuring access to medicine, and advocating for social accountability in healthcare.

Education Programmes
Sahayog actively pursues the goal of empowering underprivileged and marginalized children by providing quality education and unlocking their full potential. Through initiatives like Community Child Rights Clubs and Community Inclusive Children’s Parliament, the organisation encourages child-led advocacy, enabling them to address local issues and participate in decision-making. The SAHAYOG Community Pathashala tackles school dropouts by fostering a positive learning environment, and the Talent Enhancement programme recognizes and encourages students' abilities.

Women Empowerment Programme
Recognizing the systemic challenges faced by women, especially those from marginalized communities, it strives for a society where women can realize their self-worth and exercise their rights and opportunities. The organisation actively promotes women's groups, facilitates capacity building, and ensures their meaningful participation in various development initiatives. Emphasizing self-help group (SHG) promotion, it addresses the absence of such groups, particularly among the Shabar tribal community, fostering economic growth and empowerment. Additionally, the organisation collaborates with Goonj and supportive individuals to provide survivors of DR-TB with sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Emergency Response Programmes
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sahayog has been actively engaged in addressing the profound economic challenges faced by marginalized groups, informal workers, and individuals with chronic illnesses like Tuberculosis. Through collaboration with various organisations and individual philanthropists, it provided immediate relief to 2000 families, supplying essential items such as food, masks, sanitisers, medicines, and unconditional cash. During the cyclones FANI in 2019 and Phailin in 2013, it swiftly responded by distributing relief materials, organising health checkup camps, and providing essential support to affected communities.
