While pursuing its goals, ARTI aims to preserve its identity and cultural values, working towards the holistic upliftment of oppressed and downtrodden populations. The organisation's diverse programmes include initiatives for livelihood, social security measures, gender equality, and collaborative efforts for sustainable development, ultimately facilitating a self-reliant and dignified life for the marginalized.

Programs

  • Women Empowerment Programme

The organisation equips women with the skills and confidence needed for self-sufficiency, promoting a healthy and dignified life. Education for women not only enhances health and nutrition levels but also decreases fertility rates. It boosts self-confidence, enabling women to contribute to livelihoods and participate in local policymaking. Education empowers women to make informed decisions about their lives and resources, fostering prosperity in families and communities. ARTI's "Training and Education Project" combats domestic violence in remote villages, while the SHG Leadership Programme enhances rural women's economic skills through collaboration with resource persons from various sectors.

  • Education Programme

Recognizing that education serves as a fundamental catalyst for addressing various societal challenges, including healthcare, poverty, population control, and human rights, ARTI believes in starting this transformative journey in the educational domain. Evening Study Centres were established to support primary school children and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, aiming to enhance academic performance and reduce school dropout rates. ARTI promotes yoga awareness, emphasizing its physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. The organisation also prioritizes computer education for rural children, bridging the gap in technology access and empowering them for a tech-driven world.

  • Health Awareness Programme

Health Promotion Education strives to disseminate health awareness among the underprivileged, fostering positive health-seeking behaviour. ARTI conducts extensive programmes on HIV/AIDS/STD prevention and control, as well as leprosy eradication education. The organisation implements projects to raise awareness among college students, transport drivers, and unemployed youth. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, ARTI remains dedicated to its mission, continuing project activities in adherence to safety guidelines. The leprosy education and detection initiative aims to provide comprehensive knowledge in 20 rural villages, reaching diverse age and gender groups.

  • Environmental Awareness Programme

ARTI is actively engaged in environmental protection, emphasizing the significance of a balanced ecosystem. This entails fostering sustainable habitats with interconnected flora, fauna, and microorganisms. The organisation educates communities on the adverse consequences of human interference in nature, advocating for active community participation in biodiversity conservation. ARTI conducts informative programs, collaborating with experts from the Social Forestry Department to empower rural women in self-help groups with knowledge about biodiversity conservation.

  • Safe Water Solutions Programme

Water is pivotal for breaking the poverty cycle and safeguarding lives, particularly enhancing the well-being of women and children. ARTI prioritizes universal access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, addressing challenges faced by remote rural communities. These areas often lack adequate water for essential needs like cooking, cleaning, and food production, leading to health issues and hindering education and livelihoods. It focuses on water security, ensuring sufficient clean water for maintaining standards in food production, sanitation, and healthcare, ultimately benefiting women and children by providing safe drinking water and raising awareness about water-related issues.
