The COVID-19 Relief project promptly delivered essential aid by distributing grocery food packets, soap, masks, sanitizers, and hygiene kits. The organization extended support to 1800 daily wage workers and homeless families, preventing destitution during the pandemic.
Additionally, awareness and counselling initiatives were conducted to educate individuals about precautions and prevention methods. By providing proper sanitizing kits, the organization contributed to curbing the spread of the coronavirus, ensuring the safety of vulnerable populations. This support not only facilitated rehabilitation but also provided immediate assistance, instilling faith in humanity. -
Adult education in rural areas
Recognizing basic education as the foundation of the community and a fundamental human right, the initiative addresses the role of education in reducing both absolute and relative poverty. Basic education plays a crucial role in empowering impoverished individuals to enhance their lives.
In this context, the project places a special focus on the education of girls, acknowledging that an educated girl child contributes to the well-being of families and communities. The project will specifically explore digital education, creating a more conducive learning environment that supports active participation and improved academic performance, especially in the challenging context of the COVID-19 pandemic. -
Enhancing social protection for women in the rural economy
Gender-based disparities in the job market, the disproportionate burden of unpaid care and household responsibilities on women, and biases in the structure of social protection systems within the formal economy have led to unequal access, coverage, and provision of social security for women. Additionally, the prevalence of gender inequalities and the oversight of women's specific social protection needs often expose women to greater risks throughout their lives.
