Aaroogya International

Established in 2017, Aaroogya International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the early detection of prevalent cancers such as breast, cervica Read morel, and oral cancers in women residing in urban poor, rural poor, and educationally backward areas across developing nations, with current operations in India and Uganda. The approach involves empowering frontline health workers, such as Asha/ANM in India and mid-level healthcare workers in Africa, to conduct cancer screenings for women. This is achieved through a combination of artificial intelligence-assisted technological interventions and on-ground support provided by our fellows. VISION: To create a Digital Health Assistant and a unique ID for every woman worldwide, facilitating the early detection of chronic lifestyle diseases, especially cancers. It aims to build an open-source intellectual infrastructure that supports the development of additional solutions, offering extensive data insights and enabling faster decision-making through artificial intelligence. MISSION: To reach 50 million women by 2030, focusing on early cancer detection screenings for breast, oral, and cervical cancers. GOAL: To establish a widespread network for the equitable distribution of good health among women in developing nations, leveraging technology. It aims to assist the process with continuously improving machine learning models for symptoms assessment and health recommendations. Recognizing that there are no shortcuts to becoming a qualified doctor, it emphasizes that there are also no shortcuts to developing an artificial intelligence-assisted technological intervention that sets high standards for accuracy, user accessibility, and regulation.
