The genesis of this charitable endeavour lies in a compassionate and simple heart. Pujya Shri Sudhanshuji Maharaj, in 1997, established the Anand Dham Ashram on the outskirts of West Delhi. Driven by compassion, he recognized the absence of a hospital in rural areas, compelling people to travel considerable distances for basic medical treatment. In response, Pujya Shri founded the hospital in 1998. Initially starting in two rooms, the hospital's dedicated building was completed by October 2000. The efficient management of this vital healthcare institution was entrusted to Shri Rakesh Ahuja Ji, a devoted advocate for patient welfare. Under the capable leadership of Dr. Archika Didi, the hospital operates efficiently. Nestled in a natural and clean environment, the hospital has proven to be a blessing for those who previously had to travel long distances to urban areas for minor medical treatment. Having successfully treated 1.4 million patients to date, including 25,000 successful cataract operations, the hospital provides free medicines and transportation services to and from Bakkarwala Mor. Additionally, the hospital offers homoeopathic treatment alongside allopathic methods. Regular blood donation and eye donation camps are organized, contributing to social organizations. Free health and eye check-up camps are also a regular feature. The Eye department is acclaimed in the Delhi-NCR region for its efficient eye treatment and cataract operations.
