Poritranseva

Poritranseva with an effort to reach the dark areas of the region through integrated community development approach identified Sunderban, Basanti area Read more of South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal as one of the most backward area. Efforts have been made to spread awareness among people and develop sustainable system in the villages particularly for women & children’s development. Linkage development with the State's development system remained major emphasis in the programs. In order to raise the standard of living of people, to empower them, to make them conscious about healthy environment in the society, Poritranseva has been formed with the aim to work with the people, so as to bring about community involvement in overcoming the above problems.

The mission of Poritranseva is to educate poor and neglected backward classes such as scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and minorities, and to empower women through education and skill upgradation.

Poritranseva has organized children's drawing competitions for peace and has been recognized as an approved organization by the Income Tax Department of India.
