We aim to establish, run, maintain, support and grant aid or other financial assistance to schools, colleges, any educational or other institutions or Read more centers including for professional courses, libraries, reading room, universities, laboratories, research and other institutions of the like nature in INDIA. This is meant to be used by students and the staff and also for the development and advancement of education and diffusion of knowledge amongst the public in general and for coaching, guidance, counseling or vocational training or to grand individual scholarships for poor, deserving and needy students for elementary and higher educations. We also wish to acquire property for the sole use for public good by making it available for public purposes as for example housing a library clinic, computer centre, crèche and /or as a community hall to be available for public use as training classes, seminars, discourses for the benefit of the rural community in general. We want to render help in vocational training and rehabilitation of the physically challenged people, street children, school or college drop outs and orphans to the extent possible by offering them employment where ever possible. Lastly, we wish to promote the programs of the state government and central government for welfare of the rural people. We run the following programme: 1. Free Medical Camps: We do conduct regular free medical camps and eye testing, cataract operations and distribute of spectacles/eye glasses for the poor and needy people in rural villages. 2. WOW Project: Well being Out of Waste is a project taken up in joint venture with ITC. Under this project we collect waste paper from colonies, offices, Industries, schools, universities, etc., through our Lion’s clubs network and give it to ITC, who converts it into excellent and well known note books “Classmate” which are distributed to poor and needy students mostly from Government Schools. It’s save the Nature, climate and water. 3. E-waste: All type of damaged non working electronic waste viz laptop, desktops, monitors, keyboards, mouse and all types of electrical, electronic and hard plastic waste will be collected from corporate companies, manufacturing companies, housing colonies through our Lions clubs and our trust as part of the “Swatch Bharath” and recycle the same, convert as BRAND NEW COMPUTERS and the same will be deployed in GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS and LIONS LIFE CENTRE COMPUTER LAB in Rural areas, Mandal Head quarters as part of the Digital India program 4. Life Centre: Library of Information for Future Education (LIFE). The LIFE centre with computer lab provides all information and training on LIFE SKILLS, and EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS right from school life to college life. Our only aim is to provide right education to students to unfold their dreams and achieve their goals, thereby bring LIFE to them. This centre also provides training and employment opportunities information as well for 10th fail inter, degree students and school and college dropouts
