We give training on daily living activities, social skills, academic activities according to their age and abilities. Various therapies like occupational therapy, speech therapy, water therapy and physio therapy is provided according to the child needs. We also focus on their overall growth and development by doing routine counseling to their parents and care givers on how to handle them, to care and nurture them. We also provide medical care and guidance.
Issue
Our trust is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities in our community. We have been providing various services and support to children and adults with special needs for the past decade. As parents are getting older, they couldn't able to provide proper care to their special childs. Due to their parents age, financial backgrounds and health conditions most of the person with special needs are abandoned by their care givers or by siblings. It's hard to believe but it's happening. In order to provide solution for all this at once, we have identified a critical need for a residential facility where these individuals can live and receive care in a safe and nurturing environment. To address this need, we are seeking financial support to purchase a plot of land and build a hostel for individuals with intellectual disability.
Action
We give much attention to their employability and independent survival. We provide vocational training in garland making, jewelry making, tailoring, aari and zardosi work , agarbathi, papad, idlypodi and phenoyl making. So far we had placed nearly 26 persons in different small industries and some of them have started their own small business at home.

Impact
The hostel will provide a much-needed solution for individuals with intellectual disabilities who require specialized care and support. By providing a safe and nurturing environment for residents to live and thrive, we aim to improve their quality of life and promote independence and self-fulfillment. The hostel will also provide respite for families and caregivers who may not have the resources or capacity to care for their loved ones with special needs. In addition to the immediate impact on residents and their families, the hostel will also create employment opportunities for local professionals and caregivers. By investing in the project, donors will not only support individuals with intellectual disabilities but also contribute to the economic development of the community.
