Happy Feet Home Foundation (HFH) is the first ever Children’s Hospice in India was started in Aug 2014, which aims to provide free of cost emotional, Read morepsycho-social, educational/vocational and nutritional support to children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses. At Happy Feet Home, we work in close collaboration with Sion Hospital, with the aim of providing holistic day-care services to children under palliative care. Children coming to Happy Feet Home are either infected with HIV positive or Thalassemia major. Our mission is to work with the children in need of palliative care for them to lead happy and empowered lives. We strive to provide better quality of life and equal opportunities to these children

    The center offers day care services catering to a diverse age range, spanning from as young as 4 years old to as mature as 25 years old, all of whom are enrolled with the facility. Operating six days a week, children are encouraged to visit as frequently as desired. The center prioritizes holistic care, striving to meet the varied needs of its attendees. Within its walls, children discover a secure sanctuary.

    To maintain ongoing and reliable access to medical assistance, guidance, and treatment, Happy Feet Home collaborates closely with Sion Hospital. It conducts programs with both Out-Patient (OPD) children from the HIV and Hematology departments and those admitted to the wards. These initiatives involve implementing Art-Based Therapy sessions for the children, offering guidance and mentorship to caregivers, and providing psycho-social support to registered families.
