Bharat Jodo Youth Academy finds its roots in the Bharat Jodo Abhiyan, i.e. Knit India Cycle March led by renowned social reformer Hon. Baba Amte. The academy aims at channelising the Youth Power in this country into socio-economic transformation for a better tomorrow through national integration, work for downtrodden, struggle against injustice, constructive work, eco-friendly development in all aspects so as to build up or strengthen the country. Kinwat is a big village and taluka (Tribal) headquarter. It is 150 k.m. away from dist. Place Nanded . Villages in this area are scattered in dwells and valleys in forest . President of B.J.Y.A, Dr Ashok Belkhode, after completion of his post graduation ( M.S. Gen Surgery), chose this area as a Karmbhoomi and since then, the academy is working here. Hospital/HealthCare forms the base of its work, along with various other social activities such as: A) Health (Sane Guruji Rugnalay & Research Center, Mobile Dispensary, Health Education and Training.) B) Very special work for Farmers in Distress C) Youth Development D) Women E) Child Development F) Science (Taluka Vidnyan and Tantradnyan Kendra), G) Social & Cultural Field, H) Education (Two English Medium Primary Schools, drawing college, newly sanctioned Senior Art College), Sane Guruji Rugnalay and Research Center, It is the first and the only non-governmental well-equipped hospital with all modern facilities in the Kinwat region. Dr Ashok has been serving the needy and poor of this region for the last 25 years. This hospital has become the lifesaving centre of this region. Following are the various health activities, which became supportive to improve health and quality of life of this area.
