Wild Tiger Foundation

Wild Tiger Foundation is a CSR initiative by Wild Tiger Rum and friends. It’s a registered non-profit organization headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Read more Nadu – India that will focus on the conservation of the Tiger & it’s habitat by raising funds and creating awareness. It’s founded in 2015 by drinks entrepreneur, Gautom Menon and Coimbatore based businessman Suprej Venkat. The primary focus will be the conservation of Tigers and their habitats within the state of Kerala, Karnataka and TN, specifically Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala and Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu. Wild Tiger Foundation will act as influencers and enablers. For certain activities we shall do so for our on-ground partner Centre for Wildlife studies (CWS) as a part of our long term objectives. CWS is a worldwide organization with a goal of reversing the decline of many wildlife species and their habitats. The Indian wing of the organization is dedicated to save the Tigers and other Indian wildlife through science, conservation, education and the management of several national parks. CWS employs a multi-pronged conservation strategy that includes cutting-edge wildlife research, context specific conservation models and passionate local interventions. They combine long term collaborations with local communities to resolve conflicts and reduce their impacts on wildlife, with careful policy interventions. They build national conservation capacity at all spatial and social scales with the help of partners that include Central and State governments, local and international NGOs, media, social leaders and passionate community conservation leaders.
