Issue

The key issue in government Anganawadi centers and govt. schools are low quality education, acute shortage of teaching staff, low enrollment, lower academic performances of students, and lack of minimum infrastructure. We are addressing them step by step. The key issue of marginalized women are lack of livelihood opportunities, marketing skills, and alternate source of income. Chilume continues to impact them with training and market linkages. Farmers are backbone of our country; unfortunately, not many CSR companies willing to support as they are in remote villages. During famine, drought and natural calamities, farmers suffer most and loose their only livelihoods; loss of crops and livestock. Chilume address these with available resources.
