Dnyansadhana Education Society

Dnyansadhana Education Society is a Charitable Trust and has been running low-income private schools in Goregaon and Manori. Rishi Valmiki Eco Schoo Read morel was founded in 2010 under the Dnyansadhana Education Society, and since that time has expanded from 9 pupils to 550. The English medium school follows the Maharashtra state syllabus but has developed innovative approaches to delivering this syllabus, through stories, activity-based learning and a strong focus on nature and the environment.  The school targets pupils from low-income families and therefore aims to keep fees as low as possible whilst delivering high-quality education. Increasingly the income from fees does not cover the rising expenses of delivering, developing and improving the school’s program, therefore additional funds need to be sourced to enable the school to achieve its mission of providing ‘quality education to children belonging to a weaker financial background using best possible methods in the best possible way through, a team of well-trained faculty adopting maximum usage of quality and modern educational aids. Thus, developing their emotional quotient and helping each child emerge as a smart, confident and a good human being’.
