Women Empowerment Programme
The initiative 'Mahila Swabhiman' aimed to empower vulnerable adolescent girls from socially excluded groups in Motichak by providing sewing and tailoring training. The focus was on enhancing their technical skills for employability in the tailoring industry or setting up their shops. The course emphasized stitching operations, pattern making, and quality awareness. Through this training, 105 adolescent girls, previously with limited opportunities, now generate a monthly income of Rs. 1500-2000 by working in tailoring, significantly improving their families' financial conditions.
