Shriram Education Trust

The establishment of the school was a collective effort by the People of “Shriram Education Trust” to work for the education of the kids from the slu Read morem area of Krantinagar, Kandivali (East) Mumbai. The idea was to provide the cheap and best education to the kids and this modest initiate became reality in June 2000, when Shriram High School was opened for the first time. In the beginning, the school started from classes LKG to 5th grade and 450 children were admitted in the first year. The first batch of the school appeared in the Maharashtra board in 2005 and for three consecutive years, the school got 100% result in the SSC board exams. Apart from the excellent academics, the school gives due importance to the holistic development of the students and accordingly the students are made to participate in scholarship exams, science and mathematics olympiads, brain games, indoor and outdoor sports activities, debating, essay writing and arts & crafts. Our school has got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in science exhibitions and science quiz. Our school got 1st position in essay writing for last three consecutive years along with 1st position in debating competition “Halla Bol”, “Right pitch” (Cricket) Mumbai champions in age categories U-11 boys and girls 2017-18, runners up U-13 boys, and champions in 2018-19 under age categories U-11 boys, U-13 boys, runners up U-15 girls and champions U-17 boys along with being city champions in “Just for Kicks” football for U-10 boys and girls and national runners up boys 2017-18. Our teachers were awarded excellent teacher awards over time and “Kavyabhushan” awards etc. To cater to needs of the evolving educational landscape and provide students with access and exposure, we have external partnerships with organizations like Lantern Edusports Foundation, Rotary club, 321 Education Foundation, Kandivali Lokhandwala Punjabi association, Roundtable 2, Varija Madhav Foundation, Mahindra and Mahindra, BNP, Delloite, Colgate, Cello, Responsible Charity, Bank of America, etc.
