The Ambulance Access for All Foundation India (AAAF) is a collective formed by young Indian professionals who recognized the critical need for a well- Read moreorganised and interconnected ambulance service in the country. Since 2005, it has actively initiated, backed, and encouraged various projects aimed at advancing first aid, emergency medical services, and pre-hospital care across India. Its notable contributions include establishing self-sustaining and universally accessible life support ambulance services, such as the renowned "DIAL 1298 FOR AMBULANCE" in Mumbai and Kerala, along with supporting the implementation of "Dial 108 for Ambulance" in multiple Indian states. These efforts were crucial in areas where such services were previously non-existent, bolstering operators, systems, and processes. Moreover, AAAF India has been a consistent supporter of diverse initiatives concerning first aid, ambulance services, and emergency medical response in numerous regions including Bangalore, Chennai, Bihar, Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, West Bengal, and Gujarat. Additionally, it previously extended its support to a significant highway emergency rescue project, covering a vast expanse of 3800 kilometres across multiple states, ensuring swift medical assistance in critical situations.
