About

Recently, a young man named Dilip Gunjal was traveling to Shirdi with a degree in social work. During the journey, a mind numbing picture appeared. A Read more mentally ill woman with disheveled hair and tattered clothes was sitting in the Rahuri bus stand area with her two children. Some people were beating a woman's child. The legs stopped as soon as he saw this picture. That's how he loved social work! Went close to those kids. One baby had a large ear injury. The wound was very sore, with insects dripping with water from the wound. The mind became restless. The woman's name, village address? He asked! But there is no dialogue in front. Will you go near the children and come with us? Asked! Very light sound said yes. The destitute woman was brought to the district hospital in Ahmednagar with her children. At the District Hospital, Ahmednagar, the mother's mind and the child's ear were treated. Do government, semi-government, social organizations work in the city for further rehabilitation? Searched but found no option. Contacted Divisional Psychiatric Hospital, Pune. There was a big process for admission, it was not possible to go to the Ahmednagar city and do it again. It was impossible to get the money back in his pocket. One last attempt to find an institution in Pune. It is understood that 'Maher' is working for women and children. The destitute mother who went there got Maher and the children got admission in the children's home at Shirur. With the help of Dilip Gunjal, a young man, as a human being, she got the shelter of Maya in Maher. After reaching Ahmednagar, his mind did not allow to rest. Dilip Gunjal was moved by the plight of the homeless, destitute and mentally ill people on the streets. It was further stated that there is no provision for destitute psychiatric patients in the district. For what exactly can be done, the discussed with Mr. Umakant Dangat the district collector. Where the discussion did not begin, he was replaced. District Judge Hon. Discussed with Mr. Agarwal. He introduced the Mental Health Act 1987. All efforts failed. There was no alternative. Finally, in the year 2006, Shree Amrutvahini Gramvikas Mandal was formed for the rehabilitation of the most neglected sections. According to the Institution Registration Act 1860 of this social organization. Officially registered on 11 August 2006. And as per Mumbai Public Trust Registration Act, 1950. Registered on April 24, 2007. Those that have lost the sky, yes, their companion, wait for those who can't be found, their charioteer! A survey of 1,080 homeless, destitute mentally ill mothers, sisters and brothers on the streets was conducted during the pilot work from 2006 to 2009. There was a need for space and psychiatrists for the rehabilitation of homeless, destitute mentally ill mothers, sisters and brothers on the streets. Dr. Arvind Kshirsagar of Kshirsagar Hospital allowed five rooms to be used in his hospital building and Manavaseva Project was set up there. And psychiatrist Dr. Anya Kshirsagar, however, took the responsibility of treating the destitute mentally ill in the human service project of Shree Amrutvahini Gramvikas Mandal without any compensation. The repair of Kshirsagar Hospital again created a problem for the organization. Shree Amrutvahini Gramvikas Mandal was shifted to a rented building in the year 2014 at Navnagapur MIDC. The year did not pass, complaints started pouring in from the same area. Now there are crazy people living here, then the price and trouble of the place ... and many more...! The same question again, place to put your feet to soothe the pain of these orphans! Dilip Gunjal along with Shashikant Chengede, Meet to the Director of Shingvi Jewelers Mr. Sanjay Shingvi and requested him about land for project. Sanjay Shingvi got his own 23 guntha land in Arangaon Shivara to Shree Amrutvahini Gramvikas Mandal in the holy land of Avatar Meher Baba in Arangaon Shivara. There, a Manavseva Project was set up for the rehabilitation of these homeless, destitute and exploited mentally ill people. Rehabilitation of homeless, destitute, exploited mothers and brothers and sisters on the streets with the help of police and social workers, providing them with basic facilities like food and shelter in a nutritious environment and rehabilitating them through treatment and counselling.
