Search Foundation is an NGO working in the remote, tribal and naxalite affected areas of Korpana and Jivati tahsil, situated in Chandrapur District Read more of Maharashtra. We believe that “Serving the villages is serving the Nation ” and therefore in 2002, we started “Gramprabodhini”, a social upliftment venture, which works closely with the rural community to bring the best opportunities for their development.  Since last 18+ years we have worked day in and day out, and now the community there has transformed socially and educationally. The biggest impact that we have created in the community is making them aware about the importance of quality education. Happily thousands of students from downtrodden farmer and tribal communities are benefited and are pursuing professional education. We have now expanded our work areas and focus on various issues especially Education, Skill Development, Child development, Girls’ and Women empowerment, Healthcare, Tribal and Rural develpment, Enviornment, etc. It also provide career guidance and training to the rural people majorly coming from tribal and poor farmers’ families in the backward regions of Chandrapur district. We are determined to develop social leaders who can uplift their communities. We have more than 10+ ventures in alignment to our goals. We strongly believe in “Civic Driven Change” and we are working to witness a better society based on respect, dignity, equality and justice for all.
