Key constituency : As an organization strategically we want to excel in districts like Patan and surrounding district like Kutch, Mesana, Banskantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Morbi and Surendranagar which are much needed spaces to have good amount of intervention to work for change as well as people.    Key milestones in the growth journey:  Vasundhara Foundation was founded by multi-sectorial professionals and formally registered in 2003 under Bombay Public Trust Act,1950. Our Aim is to provide handholding support to CBOs, village institutions, GO-NGO-CSRs and development activities to promote sustainable lives in rural and semi-rural areas. Vasundhara foundation has a multi-disciplinary and experienced team of professionals that helps in capacity building of key functionaries, performs handholding operations to contextualize the output and outcome indicator of program and build strategies to strengthen development sector.  Our Intervention was initiated in Surendranagar district of Gujarat in the year of 2015-16 where we have been able to reach 57 villages of Dhrangadhra, Dasada (Patdi), Chotila, Muli, Sayla, Wadhwan, Halvad and Limdi block with the extreme support of Forest Department - Government of Gujarat. During 2016 to 2018 we have been established our intervention in Sami and Shankheshwar block of Patan District. Formation and strengthening of Village Child Protection Society (VCPS) was our main activity. We got financial support from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of the State Government which was our project based intervention.  In current year 2019-20, we expanded our sphere of activity in Radhanpur block of Patan district and Bechraji and Mandal block of Ahmedabad district. Now we are working as a resource organization for Reliance Foundation. Our main activity is community empowerment process and capacity building of PRIs, SHG and CBOs and another village’s institution. We are also in robust process for preparedness of village development plan with the participatory approach in Patan District of Gujarat. Now our focused geographical area is Sami, Shankheshwar and Radhanpur block of PATAN District.  Key outcomes achieved and Impact in the last 3 years: Impact of our activity   Activity of Vasundhara Foundation created a positive impact on the quality of life of the rural community through community empowerment process as follows. Capacity building and community empowerment We make a sincere effort to realize the concept of Mahatma Gandhi's called “Gram Swaraj”. We are in the role of a catalyst. Our expertise is to empower people, women, men and children. When communities participate in meetings, trainings and other awareness programs organized by our organization, using the information they try to their personal lives and for the development of their village and area. So many people were become as a leader and they are trying to make positive changes in village development.  In the Surendranagar district, through Forest Department and GAIC 54 biogas can constructed to the Scheduled Castes HH. Villages like Amrapur and Subapura of Sami taluka get drinking water facilities at door step. Examples of which are people's empowerment. We believe that no voluntary organization can be a substitute for government. As strategy of our organization we are working with the existing schemes of the department, other organizations. Due to this benefits is become a maximize and also impacted on grass root level institutional sustainability? Child protection committees were constituted in 2016-17 in all 98 villages of Sami and Shakeshwar talukas. Orphan and single parents’ children are getting the benefit from the Government Scheme. Equity among class, caste and gender “Gram Swaraj” is is a dream of us. Equity among class, caste and gender is a heart of the concept. In which we are trying to create equity among class, gender and gender. Due to impact so many women are coming and initiate for comes in to mainstream activity.   Community participation and bottom to top planning Community involvement is essential in every program of the organization. Due to which the level of transparency in each operation is high. This has a direct impact on the quality of the program. Current outreach and geographical spread: Our current operational are as follows Two Districts of Gujarat State Patan and Surendranagar. Ten Blocks of Sami and Shankheshwar block of Patan District and Dhrangadhra, Dasada (Patdi), Chotila, Muli, Sayla, Wadhvan,Halvad and Limdi block of Surendranagar. Total Villages covered 151 Villages .  36 Villages of Shankheshwar block and 58 villages of Sami block, Total 94 villages of Patan District. And 57 villages of Surendranagar district.)
