Established on 19th of July 2016, Badlaav Foundation of India (BFI) has set up its headquarters in the Capital of India and functions solely for the l Read moreife enhancement of Indian citizens with disabilities and those who are below the poverty line. Since its inception, BFI works as a non-political and non-profit organization to work in the fields of social welfare, humanity, welfare for women, differently-abled individuals, and for providing shelter, education, and health for children. At BFI, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their potential. We do understand that life is never straightforward. There are a lot of barriers when it comes to leading a happy and fulfilling life. We ensure that the people we meet in our journey overcome their challenges that limit their opportunities. We bring the change because we are the change! Our motto is to uplift the lives of down-trodden, illiterate, and suppressed differently-abled individuals and to fight against illiteracy and poverty. Our emphasis is on education, sports, assisting differently-abled people and women on self-help programs, old age care, and an orphanage for estranged children, and medical relief for the poor and the needy.

Health and Hygiene for Women
Badlaav is dedicated to addressing the pressing health and hygiene issues faced by socially disadvantaged women in India. Through initiatives such as distributing sanitary pads in rural areas and conducting health camps in collaboration with organizations like the Social Action Foundation (SAF), they strive to raise awareness and promote better health practices. By providing guidance, affordable medical assistance, and education on the importance of menstrual hygiene, Badlaav aims to empower women and improve their overall well-being. Their efforts have positively impacted numerous individuals, with over 100 beneficiaries receiving vital medical support during recent health camps.

The skill development programs orchestrated by Team Badlaav are meticulously designed to empower individuals from underserved communities by equipping them with essential skills for enhanced employability in today's competitive job market. With a focus on fostering self-reliance and bolstering self-confidence, these initiatives aim to elevate living standards and promote dignity within society. By honing inherent talents and offering comprehensive training in areas such as computer literacy, personality development, sewing, and mobile and computer repair, Badlaav endeavors to pave the way for individuals to secure meaningful employment opportunities or pursue self-employment ventures. Through regular counseling sessions and community outreach efforts, the team diligently works towards instilling a sense of empowerment and facilitating access to promising career pathways for the beneficiaries.
