Sri Krishnashraya Educational Trust is committed to offering education, medical care, food, shelter, and welfare services to the underprivileged society, emphasizing the importance of life skills. Since its inception, the trust has garnered a positive reputation by fostering constructive activities that contribute to reducing crime and illicit behaviour, consequently boosting academic performance and providing life skills training for children. The organization has established a pre-school and non-formal education system, offering instruction in Vedic knowledge, art, craft, science, yoga, vocational, professional, and technical courses to orphans, semi-orphans, and underprivileged children. Additionally, awareness and service programs on topics such as clean city initiatives, Gandhi's mission, environmental protection, saving green, child labour, and children's rights are conducted to promote positive human behaviour, social integrity, and peace in society. The vision of the organization is to integrate orphan, semi-orphan, underprivileged, and street children into mainstream society by providing love, care, support, and protection through shelter, food, education, and life skills. The orphanage aims to provide a nurturing environment with three caretakers, two teachers, four vocational instructors, two cooks, one admin/accountant, and one watchman. Regular health check-ups are conducted by doctors, and the children receive nutritious food, educational materials, and uniforms. The facility offers indoor and outdoor recreational activities, yoga, meditation, dance, music, value education, spiritual enhancement, personality development training, and art and crafts instruction. The objective is to mainstream orphans and underprivileged children by meeting their basic needs, providing value-based education, fostering knowledge acquisition, imparting vocational skills, and instilling life skills. This approach nurtures the children with care, love, protection, and affection, fostering increased confidence and laying the foundation for them to develop into responsible citizens within the community. The organization is registered under the JJ Act, 80g, 12a, and is in the process of FCRA registration, enjoying recognition in Bangalore as a Non-Governmental Organization. With experienced and competent staff, the organization continually upgrades its capacity-building priorities based on annual needs.
