Founding members included prominent individuals such as Shri L P Gupta, Dr. Charat Ram, Dr. K K Modi, and Dr. Bhai Mohan Singh. Situated at B-35, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi, the "Kiwanis Bhawan" was constructed during Sh. Dharma Vira's tenure as President. The land was procured through Delhi Administration in 1993, and a six-storey building was erected through donations from members, including significant contributions from Shri S.N.P. Punj, Dr. K.K. Modi, and Shri R.C. Burman, each donating Rs. 25 lakhs. Inaugurated on December 23, 2000, by the then President of India, Hon’ble Shri K.R. Narayanan, Kiwanis Bhawan became a symbol of the club's commitment. KCND initiated its charitable work by adopting the backward village of Meoka in Gurgaon district, initially focusing on an Artificial Limbs Centre (ALC). As resources and administrative capabilities grew, additional facilities, such as the Physiotherapy Cum Pain Clinic and the Cerebral Palsy Centre (CPC), were introduced. The club continually encourages diversification and has expanded its portfolio of free services, aspiring to elevate them to a State-of-the-Art Institution. Chartered as an affiliated club of Kiwanis International, USA, on August 4, 1978, KCND has maintained an active role in the global community.
