The concept of this artful event grew from the idea that cinema and art in South Asia are inter-connected, and they get nurtured from each other in sensibility and craft. Cinema and art have the power to bring peace and harmony, and envisage for a more compassionate world around us. Another initiative of SAFACH, SASN- ‘South Asia Screen Network’ is the first ever platform to help the film fraternity across South-East Asia to interact with each other and seek collaborations, joint-ventures, co-productions, distribution partnerships, line-production and technical support, provide internship opportunities for young film aspirants, organize workshops, and so on.
