Programs

  • Sai Niketan Orphanage Programme

The Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust provides a spiritual and positive atmosphere where children engage in activities like music, yoga, and more, alongside formal education. This holistic approach contributes to moulding them into culturally and morally enriched individuals. Children can stay, study, and pursue higher education, with some successfully completing degrees in Engineering, Hotel Management, Fine Arts, and Music. Many alumni have secured fulfilling jobs outside, while others contribute to the Trust's activities, creating a self-sustaining and supportive community within Sai Gramam.

  • Sai Gramam Programme

Sai Gramam, a beacon of compassion and the focal point for benevolent endeavours by the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust in Kerala encompasses a multitude of initiatives. Its influence extends throughout Kerala, fostering diverse projects, including orphanages, homes for the mentally challenged, and peace temples. These initiatives, while varied, share a common thread—the Gandhian principle of 'Grama Swaraj' or self-reliant villages. Projects such as well construction, rainwater harvesting, biogas plants, and more showcase Sai Gramam's commitment to sustainable progress, with a remarkable 90% success rate across its ventures.

  • Sayoojyam Programme

In the serene enclave of Sai Gramam, lies Sayoojyam, a haven for elderly women. Formerly marginalized and left to the harsh streets, these resilient mothers now find solace in Sayoojyam during the twilight of their lives. Inaugurated by renowned playback singer Sri. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, this home fosters joy and creativity among its residents. Sayoojyam extends its comforting embrace beyond Sai Gramam, with units also operating in the Kottayam district, providing a new life filled with unconditional love, purpose, and familial bonds for the elderly.

  • Free Mobile Dialysis Unit

Blessing the most vulnerable, particularly immobile renal patients in rural Thiruvananthapuram, the Free Mobile Dialysis Unit serves as a lifeline. This mobile unit, the 13th of its kind under the auspices of the Trust, is a collaborative effort between the Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayat and the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust - Kerala. It brings essential dialysis services directly to those in need, ensuring accessibility and care for individuals facing renal challenges in remote areas.

  • Saketham Programme

Saketham serves as an exclusive refuge for elderly men abandoned by their families, addressing the unfortunate reality of neglect faced by many senior citizens in Kerala. This home stands as a response to the distressing solitude experienced by elders who, regrettably, find themselves left without care.
