We are Delhi based NGO established and operating in rural areas pan India currently most active in remote areas of Uttarakhand & Rajasthan, going Read more by the name of AAYAT FOUNDATION. We have done & have projects undertaken in the rural parts of our country since all the projects initiated yet have been completely from our own personal funds & 100% volunteer-driven, although since the onset of the pandemic, things have been getting from bad to worse in the villages with the basic source of income and livelihood of the villagers being taken away from them, the markets are closed, there are hardly any tourists in the area which account for a large chunk of income of the villagers. With the pandemic ravaging our country the marginalized & people with hardly any money to afford two meals for their families are going through a very distressing time. Started as a women health, development & education-based NGO, we have in our period of 4 years plus since incorporation, been independently actively responsible for deeds such as distribution of sanitary pads, educating women regarding hygienic practices & the use of the same, providing them with the access of basic facilities such as private toilets & changing areas, providing with work in fields of agriculture and farming so that women feel financially independent, helping the young women financially during their marriage by facilitating the functions and giving them bridals to wear for their special day.  Our work has extended to the children of Mukteshwar who didn't yet have access to books, education, and schooling. Our primary goal has always been ensuring all children have enrolled in schools and have had basic necessities required for the same like books, uniforms, and fees. We have helped families of the villages by ensuring the same and helping financially.  We have always aimed to ensure that in every village we target and start working, that we provide a basic source of income for the people and women of that place, so as to none of the people in the villages feel financially dependant on us or anyone else. We have tried to create employment in these villages and wherever we have been to these villages. Starting right from promoting organic farming in the village of Uttarakhand, inviting volunteers for our programs, teaching women in the villages basic skills and techniques so as to create local handicrafts which can be sold in the markets later, setting up a manual machine for sanitary pads which shall employ villagers in the same, we have always tried to extend our reach for employment of villagers. In villages of Rajasthan we have worked, we started with techniques of farming wherein the product has better reach in the future market and the number of people employed in the same has also increased. We started with a dairy farm wherein the locals were called in to help with the functioning of the same and the produce being sold in the market would help them be financially independent as well. Our work in villages around has thus extended to many ambits like helping women, employment, education, welfare, and so forth. We wish to do much greater things than we already have with resources for the same.
