Rise Up Forum is a fraternity of youngsters from various professions including doctors, engineers, scientists, teachers, IT professionals, designers, Read morecollege students, and from various walks and was formed with an aim of rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the victims of the Kerala floods that happened in August 2018. The fraternity earned its reputation and popularity due to its proactive and rapid response throughout the local and the national level. The projects that Rise Up Forum took were successfully completed at an extraordinary pace primarily because of the very active, responsive, and responsible collection of youth working behind it. Currently, the fraternity has been established as a non-profit charitable trust named RiseUp Forum (Reg. No: 309/2018, revised as 46/IV/2020) focussed on, but not limited to the relief and rehabilitation activities of natural calamities, supporting specially-abled and weaker sections of the society, healthcare, education, and welfare. Rise Up Forum has been very active in all the initiatives that it took up, especially in the relief and rehabilitation in Kerala Floods 2018, Gaja Cyclone relief in Tamil Nadu, Fani Cyclone relief in Odisha, Assam Flood relief, Kerala Floods 2019, and other causes which includes providing sports facilities for specially-abled students, facilitating medical needs for weaker sections of the society are to name a few. The long-term highlight projects are Green Cover Project (GCP) and Rise Up Home (RUH). GCP is an extensive planting of trees, to cool down the planet Earth, to slow down climate change and to restore the greenery. We are setting in a massive tree plantation targeting 10,000 trees(or even more). Our Group Foster Care Project, Rise Up Home, paves the way for the redefinition of conventional ideas of a 'family' for children. It addresses the importance of alternative parallel families where each individual achieves respect, acceptance, and space for their all-around development.

DRReaM
The Disaster Relief, Rehabilitation, and Management (DRReaM) initiative stood as the primary focus of RUF. Amid the devastating Kerala Floods of 2018, RUF swiftly mobilized its resources to aid the afflicted communities. Through timely intervention and a well-organized approach, RUF played a crucial role in providing relief and facilitating rehabilitation efforts. The team distributed essential relief supplies and offered assistance in restoring livelihoods, thereby making a significant impact on the lives of those affected, a trend that continued from the Kerala Floods of '18 through the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
